Superconductor

Furuuchi Chemical is seeking for higher quality products for the future in Chemistry, Physics and Electronics. We are pursuing for the products not only sputtering targets, semiconductors and single crystal materials, but other products development.

Production for Materials of Creating Superconductors

The temperature when superconductors electrical resistance become zero, it is called critical temperature(Tc). Without decreasing the critical temperature much, there is a substance, which cause to make superconductors. We are selling the superconductive oxides for making superconductors. We also have various powder with high purity, especially for making ceramics with least magnetic impurity.

Superconductive powder "Superfine" is sub-micron powder which is prepared by our special method based on our experience and technology. Pre-calcined and uncalcined powder are available. We also offer wide selection for superconductive peripherals, teaching kit experimental kit and measurement instruments for sale.

What is Superconductor?

Superconductor is a material which as the temperature decreases, undergoes a change almost like that of phase transition, causing the electrical resistance of the material to suddenly vanish. One way to observe this phenomenon is through the Meissner Effect(complete diamagnetism). Although the internal magnetic field of a superconductor is always maintained at zero, even when the superconductor is subject to an external magnetic field, this is because the material is magnetized in the opposite direction(diamagnetism) in order to repel the external magnetic field. With using this phenomenon to make a ring with superconductors, the electric current will flows permanently.
